The countdown to the biggest continental judo event is underway!
The first edition of the European Judo Championship was held back in 1951 in Paris, and this year, Montenegro and the Judo Federation of Montenegro proudly take on the role of hosts for the European Senior Championship. This prestigious competition will take place from April 23 to 27, 2025, in a year when the Judo Federation of Montenegro is celebrating a significant milestone – 50 years of existence.
The organizing committee, together with a large team of dedicated professionals, is eagerly anticipating the arrival of top athletes, coaches, officials, and judo enthusiasts from all over Europe. This competition represents the biggest sporting event ever organized in Montenegro, and all preparations are focused on providing guests and participants with an unforgettable experience.
At last year’s European Championship, competitors from as many as 47 European countries participated. The team of the Judo Federation of Montenegro is working tirelessly to ensure that Podgorica is a worthy host of this historic event, which will further affirm Montenegro on the map of European and world sports.
The competition will be held at the Morača M-tel Sports Center, which will be the venue for top-tier fights, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. We invite all sports fans to be part of this spectacle and support the best judokas in Europe as they fight for prestigious titles!
See you in Podgorica – the center of European judo in 2025!
